NYS Assemblywoman

Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato was previously a proud Education Paraprofessional with the Department of Education. Previously, she spent 10 years with the NYC FDNY and the NYC Sanitation Department as a Procurement Analyst working on department budgets, purchasing goods and services while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta.

Stacey has been a member of the Rockaway Beach Civic Association for over 15 years, a Committee Member of the Rockaway West NY Rising Community Reconstruction Program. Education fellow at the National Conference of State Legislators.

The past two years in office have truly been amazing. I pride myself on being an outspoken advocate for our hardworking families, children, seniors, and veterans of this community and will continue to fight every single day to ensure our government is more responsive, and provides the highest quality of service for our neighborhoods. In Albany those efforts were recognized as I was appointed Chair of the Child Product Safety Subcommittee along with serving on several committees including Veterans’ Affairs, Governmental Employees, Racing & Wagering, Consumer Affairs, Corporations, Authorities, and Commissions. While we have accomplished so much in a short amount of time, I look forward to continuing my commitment to creating a stronger future for all of our neighborhoods.
